Are you intent on having chaos on your forums by having people that were banned just for the heck of it, cant login because they dont know their name (and thus have to do all kindsa funky stuff like reset the password) and changing thread titles letting people actually LOSE the thread?

well for one I would have it ban them to a special forum, not banned altogether. and yes, I guess I like a bit of chaos. There's a lot of flaming on my board and I think this would just give them more tools to help the flames

The options could be set for like a 24 hour period only, or just make it so the other user has to buy his name/title/thread title back, etc.

But for the ban one, I would try to find a way to redirect the user to the 'banned' forum or they'd get a special popup informing them of what had happened, who paid to ban them, etc.
