Is the contact mail address for your board in the same domain as the board itself? Make sure that the contact mail is in the same domain as from which the mail get really send.

If you have problems, please sent an activation mail (or another mail that ends up in the Spam box) to yourself, and post it here with full headers.

PS Mail ending up in Spam folders is really more a problem of the mail service your members are using, they define the filters based on which a mail is considered spam or not.
