I tried to extend this to vBPortal myself, but didn't get too far, my knowledge of php is too limited ..

I found that there were so many good hacks, mods and themes that had been adapted for vBAdvanced that reverting back to vBA was a far easier option than spending many long hours trying to adjust these mods/hacks for vBP!
Now got a redundant vBP license.
