vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Subdirectory for each forum?

Is this possible? I've seen on another vB site where each subdirectory works the same as the root domain, (how was that done?) But does a hack exist to make a forum appear under a subdirectory? Perhaps with some rewrite rules and some changes to the way things are linked together.

For example, If a forum is 'Baseball' than the forum and all of it's threads would be under http://baseball.domain.com
