I have been watching this for a while now. On my website, when I click on a link sometimes it will take a long time to open (as much as 20 seconds), as if the server did not register the request.

When I click on the same link twice, within a fraction of a second apart, it will open fast as supposed to (0.30 second).

Any which way I look at it, I am puzzled and am wondering what could affect that?

Has anyone else experienced such odd behavior on their sites or other sites?
