My "beta testers" have been playing with vbpager to try to fix the issues. We love the hack, and are just trying to help here, as always. Thought you might find this interesting:

as your senior beta tester I have to let you know, that this update from Microsoft doesn?t work. I downloaded and installed it today, but yet I continue to get kicked out when a pager message shows up. BUT

(I like this part with the but?lol) This being kicked out only happens when I?m on the start page of the forum, or when I try to enter my user CP. When I entered the site and immediately went to a secondary page like NEW POSTS e.g., the pager message opens and I don?t get this error message or the complete shutting down of the IE. It sounds strange, but this problem only persists at the start page of the forum and the USER CP page. Oh and the ?remember me? box was clicked on.

Well, the "start" page that she refers to is on russbo.com, and the vb forum is on russbo.org; different servers. So, I can understand why there are issues. But, the USER CP part is interesting. Don't fully understand that yet.

I've reduced AJAX to the middle level, and people still get the IE crashses. I have now gotten rid of AJAX to see if anything improves.
