This hack was made for 1.1.x but there were some problems with guests if I can remember correctly. Also, the code itself wasn't as good as it should but it was better than nothing.

Until now, if I'm not wrong, no hack like this was made for 2.0.

I can give it a try but it takes some time due to my work on more complex hack for vBulletin.
