fyi - vbulletin.com will do a base installation of the vb forums but they will not do the dataport/conversion. You may be able to find someone here however that will do it for you however for a reasonable fee.
What I would suggest...
Its very simple to install vbulletin and run the import script. The install and import scripts take care of everything, the most you will need to do is point and click continue on your browser. If you should run itno trouble, you can find alot of help on vb.com.
Do a backup of your db
Import that backup into a new db for testing purposes
Upload vbulletin into a new folder
Run the vb install on the new db
Do a test import.
Check everything out and if it works, do it again on your live site.
Good luck, I know you'll enjoy your new vb powered forum.
edit: If your not familiar with how to do a db backup and import, theres a tutorial around here on vb.org and in the official vbulletin.com documentation that goes through it step by step.
