Can I make several suggestions:-
Can everyone please stop asking for functionality before there is even an alpha. Obviously the aim is to put in all the old functionality (and probabally then some)
I think asking for features at this stage is a moot excercise.
Can someone (anyone... eg. Zachery) please update the community and confim that work is actually progressing... coding is happening. It's not 100% required, but a ETA would be nice.
I have looked over all the threads revolving around ucash and ushop and frankly it's easy to see why the original developer was so hacked off.
The original coder was completly taken for granted and 'expected' to deliver.... on top of that the constant demands... the whinging / moaning and the 'do it now' attitudes. "We have to have ushop... we need it... when are you gonna realease it?"... 3 sometimes 4 a day!
It is every developers perogative to charge for development and there is nothing wrong with that... community or not..... time is money. The whole point here is that the author was not charging a penny and you lot had him bang to rights as though you'd bought and paid for it.
I can see why the fun just drained away.... the community just lost their grip on reality and harrased the guy like a little schoolgirl would do her boyfriend after being dumped for the first time.
Obviously, I do not include everyone in those analogies (you know who you are) and I make no apologies for speaking my mind.
Now.... can we all sit tight and wait for some official word from Zachary on this before we go right ahead and take all the fun out of it (de-ja-vu??) for the newly appointed developer (if there is one) and land back in square one.
My two cents
[EDIT - Just saw Chris's sticky.... but the rest of my post applies]
