That is interesting but the more little addons and devices you have to get for better functionality, the less portable a device truly becomes. I feel that portable devices should be all-inclusive. The PSP would have been much better off with a 1.5 inch drive to begin with.

You do realize that adding the hard drive erases any price difference between the PSP and iPod 5G, don't you? Not only that but you get less storage space.

Even with that, your mind seems set. Buy a PSP and enjoy it. Others will buy iPods and enjoy them. I personally will be getting a portable DVD player with a 9" screen for less than both of them.
