I appologize if this subject has been covered before.

When it comes to hacking or modifying your board what CAN you touch that will NOT get reverted back or changed when you do an upgrade to the next version of VB?

I understand that plugins are not affected, but what else?

I am trying to get a better understanding as to what I need to avoid doing to my board and what is ok to modify.

Would anyone be willing to shed a little more light on this subject and teach me a little more of the in's and out's of this?
