If you edit the parent forum of that section and change the "Forum Is Active" flag to NO, that will prevent it from displaying on your main forum page. But it will not prevent it from working as normal if you go directly to it.

So, set that flag to OFF, then put a link somewhere on your menu, navigation block, or wherever, directly to that parent forum.

You could also specify a different style for that forum, so it will even look totally different when they go there.
