Hey, is there a "slashUBB" (for evryone who is familiar with UBB) type of hack for vBulletin?

Basically the hack allows you to add text (via SSI I think) to an external vB page that lists such things as number of replies and such for any thread. So for instance, if you had a forum for comments on your front page headlines, you could show the number of comments about that headline right next to the headline on the frontpage of you site. Understand? Hope so!

Anyway, is there anything like this available for vB? Preferably version 2.0?
