because we want to have a seperate rank in addition to usergroup ranking

basically we will have vB's ranks something like

New Agent
Agent
Adv. Agent
Elite Agent

users will be promoted through these stages on each team.but we dont want the team to be a usergroup simply an indicator to show which team each person is on.But it must be so that that normal users can not alter there team setting once it is choosen,only admins can.hope that all made sense
