when you click on a forum and enter it, at the top where it says page 1 of 125 pages or whatever, it actually lists 1,2,3,4,5,6 all the way through 125 in one long column instead of going up to 10 or so and then cutting off and leaving the rest in a drop down link. any idea where in the templates a change has been made and how to fix it?

my mistake. something got defaulted somehow, even though I never personally did it. in the control panel I found this
Number of Pages Visible in Page Navigator
set to 0 instead of 7 or 10 or something. reset it to 7 and works like it is supposed to
