I'm looking for a hack that will limit non-paid subscribers on a limited basis. Either by maximum amount of users or by time of day. As example paid subscribers will not be limited but as soon as the board reaches say 200 users all non paid subscribers will get a "sorry board busy" message.

Has anyone ever done a hack like this?
