It is useful, not only for striking through threads but you can remove the strikethrough feature, and instead of having it check if a thread is sticky and not "strikethrough", you could make it so if it is a closed and sticky thread, the title appears in bold and red and has hover-over text like "READ THIS IT'S IMPORTANT" etc
