Imagine you have a number of forums on your forum

A person posts a thread in forum a

Another posts the same type of topic in forum b

The norm is to merge them, but what if people in forum b never check forum a, there needs to be a way of linking the two threads so they are not merged but if sum1 posts one the other thread, it posts on this thread aswell...

So both threads are running similtanously, i hope this makes sense.
