Ok...

Though that doesn't change what I'm after, exactly - perhaps this particular option only functions for the final post in any given tread?

It doesn't bother me how it works, so long as I don't have to double post (which looks ugly, in my opinion), or delete my last post and post again (which is ok, but i'd prefer not to expend extra effort

)
