I dont see how reverting your files to the backups could have your admincp display messed up. Heck, the only thing that GAS does to the admincp is add a navigation pane. Pretty standard stuff.

Hotwheels. To ditch the quickreply box, just remove the $quickreply from GAS_showthread template.
