Bsically If someone (based on usergroup) trys to download attachments from your site, The script based on a vb site promotion would restrict the ammount of downloads or attachmnet downloads the user can make in a given time, be it day, week month.

Aka a user in a new usergroup with this promotion active could for example only download 5 attachments a day for say 30 days, then because the hack above is a promotion ..have that account upgrade from there, with other promotion variables.

basically I need a download restriction hack for attachments, based on the vbulletin promotion system, I have no idea how to work this any better ...

Currently in vbulletin there is no way to restrict how many downloads users can do on a forum, its only one varable, Can Download Attachments, Can't Download Attachments. But nothing limiting how much if YES.
