I'm reasonably certain that Joomla will get there within a few months. With the impending multi-db release of vBridge, it's already almost there now, just need to pick up the pace on overall features development. The latter problem is actually what led me to this thread, as I really worry that I won't be able to do much with Joomla at this time.

And conversely, Drupal has huge potential in my opinion, but the technical obstacles to integration are NOTHING compared with their closed-minded attitudes towards vBulletin. Tragic, really.

What about vbPortal? I haven't really looked into that much yet.
