I don't want to be the one to scare you, but if the original attached image is the spider that's in your house, it looks like it may be a Hobo spider.
Hobo spiders are very dangerous. They tend to be very aggresive as well, running after you in order to bite. Their bites are quite poisonous, but they only inject venom about 50% of the time. Most of their bites are "dry" bites.
If this is the spider you've got, and there are more than one that you have seen... then I can only recommend that you get rid of them immediately.
I don't recommend getting your home sprayed because the single most effective deterrent against the hobo spider is the presence of competing spider species; if such competing species are eliminated by indiscriminate spraying, the reinfestation of the hobo spider is virtually guaranteed.
