Well, for a free hack it's not bad and appears to work as intended. I'm assuming the author doesn't have a problem if we modify it for our own needs without re-releasing it?

I can tell it's a client job that went bad; there's code in the templates specific to a site (category left and right images, etc). It's easy to enough to remove and modify; I just imported it as a vbadvanced new php page, cleaned up the templates, and it looks fine. Using more than 3 feeds will require some serious modding of the code and templates though.

I'm not sure how it would affect load; I'll have to take a look at the code but I believe it pulls from the feeds each time the page is loaded which might be a problem on big sites.
