Hey Make Money, I'm using nexialys's " Sort Order and Sort Field per Forum Basis + Sort by Creation Date" (Link to hack above in his post). We've been using it for nearly a year now and only recently had trouble when we upgraded to 3.08. Anyways, to answer your question it works very well. What we do is allow the poster to modify their thread title at any time. If their item sells, they are to edit the thread title and put sold in it. I do a quick run through on the first page of the classifieds once every other couple days, and also do a search for "Sold" everyonce in a while to pickup anyones I might have accidently left behind. After polling our members we discovered that almost everyone prefered being able to reply to posts instead of them not being able to. Its a great mod and it works very well.
