from a non-hacker point of view, i can see how this would be useful..

but as a hacker, i think it would just make the big guys bigger and the small guys smaller. people will just see more-installed hacks, and install them even more :-p likewise, theyll only check out the top coders, and ignore ones like me, who believe theyve written some excellent albeit not as well-known hacks.

the individually installed hack idea per person is nice, but vborg has been through this song and dance before, and would rather preserve privacy (and the only-to-the-author-on-showthread is only half as useful as youd think :-/)
