vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Safest version to mod with?

I would love to upgrade to the new 3.5 vbulletin version, but feel that I need to go with the most stable version of the script. Reason being is that I will be installing several mods, two of which are my own private mods. I don't think I'll be able to upgrade due to the amount of code that will be added to the php documents.

So my questions is: What would be the safest version to go with in order to not require an upgrade?
