I just installed 3.5 a couple of days ago and everything is moving forward thanks to all the authors who submitted tutorials.

QUESTIONS

1. I'm trying to access $pmbox[etc] variable(s) from global.php and I'm not having any success.
   If I use global_start - that will not work as the hook is before the private message query.
   If I use gobal_complete - well, nothing happens. What am I missing?
   
2. I want to add $speciatemplates to some files but I am not having any success. I've tried array_merge in cache_templates hook--nothing.

EDIT:
Here's what I found after further testing/debugging:
1) Currently, using another alternative - sometimes the obvious should be the first solution - I guess I'm expecting too much from vb3.5
2) Not implemented will have to edit files - hopefully, a fix will come soon.
