That would be possible, but extreme difficult to make it work in a nice way. Just an example:
- Someone signs up, a new userprofile is added.
- He gets the page to subscribe and pay (what if he bails out now)
- He make a payment
- We are waiting for the response from the payment processor, this can take some time (what if he close the page now)
- What to do with profiles that never finish the payment cycle?

And probably a lot more
