Well with regard to question 2; I have just moved from IPB and whenever I go to PM any members unless they have changed it in their usercp the board has set them automatically not to receive PM's. How can I turn that around so that instead they are receiving PMs unless they unselect it.

Sorry I have just noticed that in that section you said it is automatically set for them to receive. For some strange reason when I converted from IPB to VBulletin it hasnt done that though.
