The example of the forum structure I am refering to is listed below.

I want to be able to go into the "Hiking" forum and pick NEW POST and have it display all the new post that have been posted in the forums below it. That mean all the new post only in those forums listed under "Hiking", that would incluse Backpacks, Sleeping Bags, Tents and Foot Wear.
