maximum execution time, is timing out after 30 seconds.. when i try to send batch emails through mail.php using the function through admincp in vbulletin,

i know the function to declare is in php.ini, setting max_execution_time.. but i dont have access to the file on the hosted server. can i bypass this, or declare it through vbulletin in any way?!
