I do suggest that you take a look at the instructions in the ImpEx zip-file. Then read the stickied posts in the Import System forum at vbulletin.com. Then setup a test vB board and try to do the import. It really is not more difficult then editing a config file. By doing it yourself you familiarize yourself with everything, and that can only help you later.

If you really don't get it to work yourself, you can always post a request in our Serive Request forum.
