The fix for if you use the reputation system will always require an edit

But the PM fix could be done without an edit if the vb devs add the hooks in like they have in the showthread_query location.

I'm crossing my fingers they do as there is alot I'd love to do in PMs, specifically wanting to avoid adding queries
