I've made the site to cater toward showcasing anyone's 2D and 3D work, as well as website design, photography, video, etc.

I just got my hands on VB last week, and have had only a few days to really start playing with it.

Previously I've worked with SMF, but find it's like modelling with stone compared to this board. I'm loving the flexability... you definitely get what you pay for.

At this point, I'm still a rookie when it comes to PHP, but I can kind of scramble through it. I haven't been able to get the main site up, but the forums are up and running.
I took the free AlienSector style from AlienSkin.com, but wasn't completely happy with the look or the layout, but it had the basics that I needed to start with, so I've modified the code and graphics to more of my liking, giving it a splash of colour and modifying the original template to fit the look I was going for.
