I actually find the animated avatar of Erwin being repeated on that page extreme irritating.

i like the avatars, too much text/no images is just boring and with erwin's av' it's apparently a family orientated site now, you gotta have something for the kids to go "ohhhhhh" at.

saying that i would like to see more relevant news on the portal too, like php news that effects us and also mysql news.
