And thinking about it, that's the way I really learned UBB.threads myself, by installing hacks. I must admit it somehow annoys me that I have to start all over again learning, but I hope my experience from UBB (with basic php editing) will at least make the learning curve faster and less steep...

My plan is to install vB on my server but keep UBB running and only import/switch the users over when I have gotten acustomed to the new software (e.g. by installing hacks)
