The vB hack writers probably spend their time coding for their site, so things as specialized as this don't fall into their realm of needed-features. If you need it, grab the PHP manual and MySQL manual and write it. If you run into a brick wall ask for aid in writing the code but don't just ask people to volunteer to do your work.
