Could someone get me started on as to how to modify the breadcrumbs display? I'd like to do somethings with the last element (current page) - maybe not show it at all, or maybe show it differently

(Also, how does vB know which templates it needs to generate - as each template can nest many other ones - is this prestored and cached?)
