vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Register with one email

In an effort to cut out problematic users, spam, and so on I've banned a lot of popular free email services and in doing so making people register using their ISP email or something similar.

However I realise that not everyone uses their ISP email address (I myself don't either) so I'd like to have a way where they still can't register using a free service to cut down on the problems mentioned above but allow them a way to receive thread updates and so on from a free email address.

Any ideas how to do this?
