I run a sports related site, I would like to change the now "boring" bulletin board icons that denote new posts to "new" "cooler" sports league logos. So if it is baseball the MLB logo is their. How can i change this? Also would it still be possible to have it show up as either no new posts or new posts? i thought about just making the new posts show the league logo regular, and the no new posts the same logo, just lighter.

Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.
