i understand that if i set the table width to 100%, it will expand and contract dynamically according to my browser window size and if i set it to a fixed 700px, it will stay 700px no matter what size my window is...

question is, is it possible for me to set it at a fixed 700px even when the window is, say 400px, but still stretch to 1024px when my window is 1024px?
