Hi Tony,
Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to this. I would appreciate any help you could provide.
here is my forumhome_level1_nopost template
HTML Code:
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" align="center">
<thead>
<tr>
<td width="100%" height="20" class="tcat" colspan="5" align="left">
<a href="forumdisplay.php?$session[sessionurl]f=$forum[forumid]"> -= $forum[title] =-</a>
<if condition="$show['forumdescription']"><div class="smallfont">$forum[description]</div></if>
<if condition="$show['subforums']"><div class="smallfont"><strong>$vbphrase[subforums]</strong>: $forum[subforums]</div></if></td>
</tr>
</thead>
</table>
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" align="center">
<if condition="$childforumbits">
<tbody cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2">
<tr align="center">
<td width="15" class="thead"> </td>
<td class="thead" align="$stylevar[left]">$vbphrase[forum]</td>
<td class="thead" width="60"><span class="smallfont">$vbphrase[threads]</span></td>
<td class="thead" width="60"><span class="smallfont">$vbphrase[posts]</span></td>
<if condition="$vboptions['showmoderatorcolumn']">
<td class="thead" width="100">$vbphrase[moderator]</td>
</if>
</tr>
$childforumbits
</tbody>
</if>
</table>
The subforum will show up if it's set to not act as a forum. It will also show properly if it's not a link. Only when it's set up to act as a forum and also set as a link does the title just vanish on me. For appearance sake I'd like it to maintain the look of other forums rather than as a forum category. So I was attempting to set it up as a forum and a link in order for it to look propper and to link elsewhere. Maybe this just isn't something that's possible with vb3.0.1. Attached is a screenshot of what it's doing.
Still running v3.0.1 and not looking forward to hours of upgrading
