People were only interested in the holographic cards, nobody wanted the common ones. The lower cards weren't worth much at all.

I had collected the full sets of the first three card sets out, the normal ones, the jungle ones and I forgot the third sets name. I had 2 Charizard cards, got $50AUD for each.

Hardly anyone collects Pokemon cards here anymore, so I'm glad I sold them back in 2001. I would have got even less back otherwise.
