You should remove the '.com' from your header ... it's not necessary
You want to brand 'stangette' not stangette.com.

Although the header looks nice, the overall design just doesn't scream 'car enthusiasts please enter' -- the excitement is missing.

The colors you have choosen for the site is a calming color--very dull.
On the other hand, the yellow mustang (header) just makes me want to run around in circles.

If it wasn't for the yellow mustang you'd probably get very little attention.
