I am not sure what to say. The error is not even coming from AWS code, so I guess something has messed up with your language tables. Before doing anything scary (like deleting your database) talk with the vB people, I think they have a scipt that allows you to fix some of those things. It's included in the distribution, in the section which is not for uploading.
