I tried to find a hack for this, and found:

I have tried that a few times, but I have never gotten it to work :ermm:

I would like to be able to use individual groups of forum specific post icons for users to choose from in each forum, rather than have all icons as an option when someone is posting a thread.

I have installed the filter by post icons hack, which inculded modifications to two templates, forumsdisplay and threadbit, and also one file; forumsdisplay.php. I am not sure if that would matter or not though. I am sure many vB owners would love to have a hack like this though, so if anyone can explain how it works or make a new hack for it lots of people would appreciate it, especially me
