I have observed that getting a hosting company to change out a hard drive or a server is like pulling teeth. It has to be well documented.

At least they replaced all the RAM today. The server seems much snappier than before, but this is all an intermittent thing so I'll hang tight for another 24 hours.

None of the techs seem to be bothered about the swap file being the same as RAM (2 Gig). I too have observed in the past that Swap = 2X RAM.
