My understanding is that the next version of Inferno is going to have a great deal more than anything seen so far. I know there was talk of a map/world system and random encounters, but I don't feel qualified to try and give you a run down of someone else's software. I know that we had ours down for about a month and our membership about lynched the admins to get it back up even though we haven't finished testing the latest upgrade. Now that we've moved our forums to a new server, that upgrade will go in and people will be much happier.

I don't know anything about the other system you mentioned (though I'll have to go take a look now), but I can say without hesitation that I have absolutely no regrets with Inferno and our members have taken to it wildly.
