PHP and Vbulletin Geniuses,

Hello, I'm having a problem with thread title length. The details are not worth explaining here, but the problem is that I have some threads with title length > 249 characters, and the column type for the "title" row is varchar(250). My question is: Would it create havoc if I were to change the "title" row to type "text", which has a much larger max size?
